With a history spanning more than four decades, Cape Cladding has cemented
its position as one of the leading roofing specialists in the Southern Cape
region of South Africa and beyond.
Established in January 1970 by the late Ron Christie, Cape Cladding Procurements quickly became a household name in the construction and roofing industries. Branches were opened in all of the major centres across South Africa, with one in George arriving during 1987. Just a few years later, this branch was involved in the transformation of Fancourt - now one of the continent’s most prestigious golfing and holiday destinations.
In 2005, the group fragmented and Cape Cladding Procurements in George is the only remaining branch carrying the original name. It is also still under the stewardship of the Christie family, with Ron’s son, Henri, overseeing day-to-day operations.
During the past three decades, Cape Cladding Procurements in George has completed projects in countries as far afield as Ghana, and continues to build its reputation for quality craftsmanship.
